17th Biennale of Sydney THE BEAUTY OF DISTANCE

Last night
I had the pleasure to be
in the Biennale Vernissage
because Dave my flatmate
was in the staff
and so
WE HAD THE INVITATIONS!!!
We catched the
ferry
and we went to
Cockatoo Island...

which was born like a convict prison and ship dockyard
and was for a night
the most artistic place
on this side of the world
(I fell in love
with Mr Gentleman
!!!)

The 17th Biennale of Sydney
called
THE BEAUTY OF DISTANCE
Songs of Survival in a Precarious Age
!!!
presents more than 440 works by 166 artists and collaborators
from 36 countries,
making it the largest exhibition
ever staged by the Biennale of Sydney
in its 37-year history.
