Sex and the City 2

Just watched Sex and The City 2
Yes and Not
:

YES-90'S
When Carrie dresses up,
while Mr Big is waiting for her,
in front of the old flat
as before she was HIS WIFE
She wears
celebrating the old good times
a SOOOOOOOOOOO 90'S Galliano.

NO-RELIGION, NO POLITIC, NO VALUES, PLEASE.
I really didn't enjoyed Islamic men screaming against Samantha.
Sex and The City supposed to be
no judgement,
just a nowadays version of Cinderella.
C'mon
you can't talk about
the condition of women in Islam
in 2 minutes of stupid
sparkling
movie!
Talk about shoes,
talk about love
but that's it, in Cinderella's World
there are no races, no visas,
no religions!
(cit. my Auntie Loretta)

YES-CLASSY.
Becoming older,
the idea of style is more clean and everything
sounds a little bit jet-set,
The Girls here are quiet CLASSY,
let say.

Even though very
very
sparkling
and ETHNIC CLICHE...
the trend is
(as Net-A-Porter defines)
Gypsy + Jetset = Gypset.

NO-NEW OUTFITS.
Used to be full of different outfits.
Here, comparing to the past, not as many ideas...
I think more or less just one shoulder.
All-mo-vie.

YES-MONEY MONEY MONEY.
In time of Global Financial Crisis
Fashion
HAS JUST TO SPARKLE,
this is an economic rule.

YES-EVERYBODY IS A SINGLE LADY
Liza Minnelli in the supergay wedding,
singing and dancing Single Lady.
Not as La Danielina but...
Still cool.

/this post is dedicated to all my girlfriends, I wish you all the best,
especially Love and Shoes/
